  1. How do I obtain a referral to a specialist?
    Each office has a referral department that coordinates referrals to specialists. Please see our frequently asked questions pertaining to referrals.

  2. Do you see walk-in patients?
    While we always make every attempt to accommodate sick walk-in patients, an appointment will avoid unnecessary delays.

  3. How soon will I be able to get an appointment?
    We always make every effort to see sick children as soon as possible. Appointments for well visits and physicals can usually be scheduled within one to two weeks of your call.

  4. Can I go to any of the other locations?
    You can use any location during daytime hours Monday-Friday. Our Hollywood office is open on Saturdays and the Taft Street office is open evenings, weekends and holidays.

  5. What if my child is sick on the weekend or a holiday?
    Our Hollywood office is open 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Saturdays. Our Taft Street office is open Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

  6. Do any of your providers speak a second language?
    Yes, we have providers who speak Spanish.

  7. Must a parent accompany a child on his visit?
    We do ask that a parent accompany the child on every visit.

  8. How do I get my child's medical records or school forms?
    You may obtain these forms at the time of your child's physical or you may download the request forms from our website and return them completed to our office. You can also contact the medical records departments at any of our offices.

  9. What if I have a question for one of the providers?
    Please call our office during business hours and give our staff a brief explanation of the problem. A provider will return your call as soon as possible within the same day to discuss your question. Please be aware that certain types of questions may require you to make an appointment to discuss the issue with the provider.

  10. When do I have to pay my co-pay or deductible?
    By law, co-pays and deductibles must be collected at the time of service.

  11. How can I get my child's prescriptions refilled?
    Please call our office during business hours and leave a message for one of the providers or your pharmacy can send us an electronic request.

  12. Do the nurse practitioners see sick and well children?
    Yes, our nurse practitioners are licensed and experienced to evaluate both sick and well children. They are able to write prescriptions and make referrals to specialists as needed.

  13. Do I need to show my insurance card at each visit?
    Yes. Providing us with your insurance card at each visit will ensure all your claims are processed under the current policy number and are mailed to the correct insurance company at the correct claims processing address.
